Behind the Makeup

Skivies Bar & Grill is a club in Topeka, Kan. that caters mainly to the gay clientele. They are open seven days a week, and feature drag shows every Thursday and Sunday evening. The shows are open to drag queens and kings (biological women dressed as men), and feature a variety of musical and costume choices.

 

The club also includes a dance floor, karaoke, pool, bar and other entertainment features. It has been open since 2011.

 

The bar is located in mid-Topeka, at 921 S. Kansas Avenue.
