Cameron Carrera first broke into the drag culture on season three of "RuPaul's Drag Race" (see video). After going through a public transition to female, Victoria's Secret is considering making her their first ever transgendered model, the Huffinton Post reports.
"RuPaul's Drag Race" has the power, according to Salon magazine, to deem their winner as the next "top" drag queen. And these authors believe it will be based greatly on social media.

Glee, which hit FOX in 2010, features several gay characters, but Wade "Unique" Adams is the first drag queen charcter. During his first season, he struggles with publically accepting who he is, and facing the hardships that come with it.
